Winter concert to warm our hearts

Flamenco guitarist Tomas Lorenzo, accompanied by double-bassist Hugh Fraser, played a beautiful set of originals and standards at the church on Friday, June 17.

The Celebrating Music from the Heart concert was a fundraiser for the church. Big thanks to Tomas for donating $420 toward our ministries, including arts, garden and community newspaper projects.

Tomas is the director of the Creative Guitar School which has opened a location at the church (lessons on Tuesday evenings in the hall), offering guitar courses and ensembles in jazz, blues and flamenco.
