A garden is a good place for an artist. Gardening inspires imagination. I like to draw, making lines to make the viewer’s imagination work.

Horticulture by correspondence
Chris says: I’ll be fairly busy this year, studying horticulture by correspondence. The course is run by OTEN (The Open Training and Education Network) through the TAFE system. You can start anytime and work at your own pace.
I’d like to teach horticulture. I look forward to meeting with other gardeners in the new Eden Community Garden.
It will be good to spend time in the garden – growing fruit and vegetables, meeting with friends – including artists – in the garden. I like to sit and draw, sometimes more abstract works are faithful to the real thing – they can capture the energy and beauty of plants and flowers.
