What’s happening in January?

All welcome for worship services in January – Sunday at 10am, in the church and online: join via Zoom (Meeting ID: 879 3746 4388 / Password: 087151).

Please find liturgies and slides for Sundays in January here.

Thanks to liturgists, readers and musicians … see Worship Roster here.

On January 1 Dr Miriam Pepper will lead a reflection on the Orthodox Icon of the Nativity.

Our preacher for January 8 will be the Rev. Dr Mel Macarthur, whose homily is available online as part of Project Reconnect.

Thanks to guest preachers, the Rev. Trish Rooney (January 15) and the Rev. Danielle Hemsworth-Smith (January 22) from Paddington Uniting Church.

Art workshops will continue as usual on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, from 12 to 4pm. All other activities will resume in February.

Thanks for offerings in support of Act for Peace’s Christmas Bowl Appeal – providing refugees in Kenya, India, Jordan and Hungary with food, care and lifesaving support … families in Zimbabwe with training in the latest climate-resilient farming techniques.

You can still make an offering via the SSUC online portal: mycb.link/46613
