God, what variety you have created,
arranging everything so wisely!

The earth is filled with your creativity!
We look to you for blessing.

All creatures depend on you
to feed them at the proper time.
We turn to you for blessing.

We will sing to you all our lives.
We return to you for blessing.

May our reflections give God
as much pleasure as God gives us!

Those who look to Our God are radiant,
and their faces are never covered with shame …

Taste and see how good Our God is!

Behold the world around you –
the goodness of the world
in which you are distinct,
mutable, transient, dependent …
the goodness of the world beloved of God …
the goodness of God whose faithfulness
enables all the world to exist
(involved in continual processes
of mutual transformation) …
